I can’t hear the sound from video. (AC3 codec not supported)

When you are using video players other than MX Player, AC3 Audio codec is not supported and the audio might not work properly.

For this case, you have to install AC3 external codec to your device.

In the guide, the explanation is based on MX Player.

[Note]
You can’t download the codec with Wi-Fi. Please download the codec with 3G or LTE service.

1. After starting MX Player, select Help menu, which is on the top right corner.

2. Select About menu.

3. Select Support - Forum.

4. At the bottom of forum, select MX Player Custom Codec with DTS & AC3 support.

5. Find and select Arm v7-Neon from the bottom. If you are using recent version of MX Player, then find recent version and download it.

6. When you re-start the MX Player, Custom codec message will pop up. Click OK.

7. When you select Settings - Decoder menu from MX Player, you can see that codec is installed at the bottom.
